EXCLUSIVE: How to Hack Huge Savings on Computers with a Dell Insider

Dell Laptop Deals

The holiday shopping season is upon us, and of course the big one of them all, Black Friday.

  • Let’s see, you grab all the ad flyers from major retailers that your hands can muster to decide where you will set your heart out to get before you set your alarm clock at the earliest of A.M. – or better yet, head straight to after your Thanksgiving feast. Then wait in line in the freezing temperature for who-knows-how-many-hours with all the other anxious shoppers hoping they can still snag the deals before anybody else does while limited supplies last, which most likely won’t happen for the most in-demand deals, being reserved for the first 50 people or less.

Welcome to the Black Friday frenzy.

Black Friday Frenzy

How about instead of hustling, bustling, and tumbling through all the overwhelming flashiness screaming “BUY ME!” not knowing whether or not you’re really getting the best bang for your bucks, have the Black Friday come to YOU.

Can you guess what are the most popular items on Black Friday? E-L-E-C-T-R-O-N-I-C-S. That’s right, electronics – notably computers.

Today, we are honor to have one of those people who operate behind the curtain with the most popular computer brand among Black Friday shoppers…

Meet Alvina Torres from Dell, with the insider’s scoop on how you can skip the line and snatch huge savings not only on Black Friday but year-round.

What type of promotions does Dell have going on right now?
There’s a lot of promotions going on at Dell! November kicked off one of Dell’s most unique promotions to date…”Buy a Dell, Get a Drone.” I am excited about this promotion. I plan on purchasing a new computer for myself and giving the drone to my daughter for Christmas. Also, we’re celebrating those who serve on November 5-15th for our Veterans Day sales.

Obviously we have to ask this, what does Dell have in store for Black Friday?
Ah yes, the biggie 🙂 there’s a lot going on! November 19 through 24th there is the Dell’s Black Friday Presale, where members can shop the year’s best prices with exclusive access to Black Friday deals starting at 7am EST on that Thursday, while the official Dell’s Black Friday sales start at 6 pm EST on 11/26 and run through 11/27.

Now what about Cyber Monday?
Dell’s Cyber Monday door busters start on November 30th at 8am EST. You can still find great Dell laptop deals regardless if you’re shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Life outside of Dell, what do you personally do for finding bargains and discounts when you’re doing any kind of shopping?
Personally, when shopping online I often use retailmenot.com and fatwallet.com to find discounts. I also use autoslash.com for my rental cars.

Any tips on how to save the most when shopping at Dell this season?
Honestly, I have written a few guides in the past. But as Dell upgrades the website things change and sometimes become irrelevant. I have one of those guides here which you can give to your readers. (Download – How to Save a Load of Money at Dell)

Is there any special offer you can hook up for our readers here at INSTANT Series?
Haha I have been toying with the idea of doing a monthly contest through my blog to giveaway a bunch of cool stuff. My best advice is to contact me directly, and I’ll help you get the best price and to check out quickly. I do all the heavy lifting. 🙂

So what is the best way to get a hold of you?
The best way to contact me is through alvina@wheresalvina.com. Feel free to visit my site as well www.wheresalvina.com.

(*UPDATE NOVEMBER 2015)
What is in the pdf still applies but what has changed is how to go about it. For instance, you can still get the benefits of the member purchase program, but how you add the member ID to your profile has changed. You now add the ID at the end of your cart, when you add the mailing and billing address.

Also, the advantage program has changed.  It’s not streamlined to be attached to your account so getting the rewards are automatic once you connect it to your account. Previously, you had to remember to click claim rewards every time you checked out.
